Many years ago we did a job training program for older folks to become gardeners or nursery workers.  It was a class of some fifteen to twenty people – fifty, sixty year olds.  Many of them were Chinese, and had come from an agricultural background.  They were much more knowledgeable than I in experience and general know-how.  To bridge the gaps in communication, I recruited my father to help write the curriculum.  It is presented here.  A big thank you to fathers and mothers, grandmothers and grandfathers.  Happy gardening!
